Wiregrass Area Pan-Hellenic Council Backpacks & School Supply Giveaway 2022

The Wiregrass Area Pan-Hellenic Council held it’s Annual Backpack and School Supply Giveaway. On July 23, 2022, Members of the Wiregrass Area Pan-Hellenic council met at Walton Park in Dothan, Alabama and gave away FREE clear backpacks, pencils, folders, paper, and other school supplies to members of the community.

The Pan-Hellenic Council is comprised of the Divine 9 or the 9 African American Greek letter organizations. The Divine Nine includes Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity!!!!

Money was donated by each organization, members of the community, businesses, and other organizations. With the funds raised, the Pan-Hellenic Council was able to give out over 400 backpacks and school supplies. A list of donors can be found below.
