The WAPHC hosted its 8th Annual MLK Day Step Show on Monday, January 22nd, 2022 at 5pm virtually due to the COVID-19 Pandemic via Eventbrite.

The WAPHC utilized this annual event to make a positive impact on young people in the spirit of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr in order to foster not only a desire to seek higher education, but also as a vehicle for engaging in community service for the participating groups.

Each participating Greek college organization was awarded a donation of $200 towards its chapter’s community service programs.  This was an outstanding opportunity provide HBCU awareness, and also as an opportunity to introduce numerous youngsters to what the organizations embody.

Approximately 150 persons attended and supported the virtual event which was promoted via flyers and through various forms of communication including, face to face, email, website pages, Group-Me pages, Face Book pages, Instagram, Eventbrite, local radio stations, and other media outlets.
