Members of the Wiregrass Area Pan-Hellenic Council participated in the Sickle Cell Walk put on by Community Advancement Foundation (CAF) on September 26, 2022 from 7:15 am. – 12 pm. The event was put on to help raise money the Sickle Cell Association that uses the money to help those in need with medical, travel, and more. Wiregrass Pan-Hellenic Council Member organizations participated in raising funds for the event along with other members of the community, churches, and organizations. The ambassador for the event was Senator Dexter Grimsley who helped with other senators to gain government funding for the foundation as well.
